A caring community

by Bill Hull

Part of church outreach is what the church is before a watching world. People desire love, to be cared for and belong. When they see a loving, caring community, they feel a natural attracting. This type of caring cuts through cultural resistance like a knife through butter. Never underestimate the power of a mature, Christlike community “. . . enjoying the favor of all the people” (Acts 2:47). Before their irresistible and magnetic power, skeptics fall limp.
