The Merit and Value of Grace – A “Perfect Love” – Bible Inspiration

Darrell Creswell at has posted another great blog that you need to see. Check out his site for many good blogs.

Grace perfect love Titus 2 11God’s love weaves the strands of our pains and sorrows into His tapestry of grace, making something beautiful of our lives. In a love letter from God to each one of us grace writes, “To me you are perfect”.

The basis for everything in our lives is grace. It was grace that caused Christ to give His life for us on Calvary. There is no limitation to the grace of God as He displayed the single greatest act of love ever by giving His Son as a sacrifice for our sins. As mere mortals, we abuse and misuse grace, but it never grows weary or grows tired of redeeming mankind.

God’s grace has no limitations. God’s grace never says, “You have gone too far, I do not love you any more”. Grace is stronger than any circumstance. Grace is stronger than any situation.

Grace will never fail you. Grace will never act foolishly. Grace remains strong regardless of your actions. If you stumble and fall, grace holds no ill feelings toward you.

Grace never gives up,
Grace doesn’t strut,
Grace doesn’t have a swelled head,
Grace doesn’t force itself on others,
Grace doesn’t fly off the handle,
Grace doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Grace doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Grace takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Grace overcomes anything and everything,
Grace always looks for the best,
Grace never looks back,
Grace keeps going to the end,
Grace cares more for you than you care than for yourself.

As recipients of grace, we should always assume the best about others. If someone offends us, in grace we should choose to honestly forgive them. If someone gives us grief in life, we should “bear all things”, and forgive unconditionally, showing the grace of Christ in our life. This is the definition of living in grace. We never lose hope in others, as we show others the same unconditional grace that Christ our Lord has demonstrated toward us.

We are covered by grace, clothed in the righteousness of Christ. When God looks at us He does not see all the ugliness that our lives have wrought, all He sees is the divine rectitude of the redemptive Christ. Christ’s shed blood covers all our sins.  When God looks at us, He sees Himself as is if He was looking in a mirror; He sees the righteousness of Christ covering us by His grace. Once dirty, beaten and broken by sin; we are beautiful in God’s sight as we are clothed in His grace.

As sinners we are pardoned and accepted as righteous; not on account of anything we do ourselves, but on account of what Christ has done for us. We are redeemed as the merits of Christ’s suffering and obedience are imputed to us as the grounds for our justification.

Pray that His grace can be shared to others daily in your life through you in all you do. In this may the grace of Christ be demonstrated as we humble ourselves to His will, demonstrating toward others the same love that rose Christ from the dead, and saved us from our sin. Let us demonstrate toward others the same grace that lives in us by Christ Jesus. We must allow the grace of God to be truly effective in our lives by demonstrating Christ’s love, and sharing His grace intimately with our fellow-man. Then grace will be at its greatest height; and in Christ’s love will it be perfected.
