Pure Christianity

A. W. Tozer

Tozer was “one of us” but more importantly, he was one who pointed “us all” toward a  closer walk with God, recognizing him and worshipping him with greater integrity.

It is remarkable that his words still speak challenge to our denomination and so many others — even those who have never heard of us. We are not to be proud of him, but of his God and ours — and to recognize that when it comes to following Jesus in our life, we all need each other.

“Christianity is rarely found pure . . . The truth is so vast and mighty that no one is capable of taking it all in. . . It requires the whole company of ransomed souls properly to reflect the whole body of revealed truth.”

~ A.W. Tozer
